House Bill 1911 (Brattin. R-Harrisonville) was originally proposed to allow non-veterinarian chiropractors to practice animal chiropractic. The Missouri Veterinary Medical Association opposed the bill in a hearing held in the House Agriculture Policy Committee. Upon deliberation the original wording was substituted. Under this substitution an animal chiropractic practitioner is not allowed to practice veterinary medicine. The substitution was adopted and voted to pass on February 13.
